Dr. Soliz and Dr. Davis are co-inventors with members of the staff at the University of New Mexico, Department of Engineering and Computer Engineering of an algorithm for the identification of retinal images presenting with diabetic retinopathy and other retinal diseases. (Patent Pending)
Dr. Soliz with members of the staff at the University of Iowa, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, are co-inventors of an algorithm for the extraction of features from retinal images for the purposes of detecting pathological structures in the retina. (Patent Pending)
