Building Future Careers

Meet our engineers and staff members!

For the summers of 2009 and 2010, with special stimulus money to promote new jobs, VisionQuest Biomedical, LLC has sponsored high school students, teachers as well as undergraduate students. The funding came from federal notice NOT-OD-060, Recovery Act Funds for Administrative Supplements Providing Summer Research Experiences for Students and Science Educators. The interns have assisted with two important NEI grant-funded projects, the Low-Cost High Resolution Fundus Camera, and the Automated Eye Disease Screening System.

For the past several years, VisionQuest Biomedical LLC has sponsored graduate students from the UNM Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
