VisionQuest Biomedical's newest product in development is EYESTAR™, the first screening system that will make it possible to effectively, efficiently, and economically combine the power of computer-assisted screening with the irreplaceable expertise of eyecare professionals. EYESTAR™ overcomes the main obstacles that currently prevent mass screening at the point of care, namely ease of use, performance, speed, cost, and effectiveness. Currently, VisionQuest Biomedical is performing several NIH-funded local IRB approved clinical studies that will ready EYESTAR™ for the pathway to FDA clearance/approval for market.
